Yes, another Arsenal blog. No, not like the last one you’ve read.

Sure, North London 11 will give a go at summing up all things Gunners. We’ll blog and re-blog. We’ll sock it to the topic of the day and let opinions crumble where they may. And we’ll do it nice and fast. (Some talent, eh ladies?)

We’re kind of like Gervinho trotting down the flank—only we intend to finish/satisfy with a fine pass or goal now and then.

But we won’t be shoveling news or its cousin-slash-wife, opinion. They got this outfit called Google for the former and there’s a horde of top-notch Gooner bloggers to guide you through the latter. And, look, we love many Arsenal blogs; you’ll find the finest promoted here.

What North London 11 will do is present Arsenal with the long view in mind and some crisp prose at its heart. We’ll offer the tradition, the celebration, the insight. We’ll call out the ridiculous and the utterly stupid (especially if they play for or are in any way related to Spurs). We’ll fire off a few links because we know you want more; Arsenal fans always want more. And, hell, a true Gooner wears a pair of Houdini-proof shackles, he or she is a Gooner for life, so we’ll get you that oh-so-deserved more.

We’re offering tears and cheers, folks, along with the regular reminder of why you love the Arsenal.

And, finally, we’ll answer your questions, post on what’s important to you, share some terrific pictures and videos, and the god that is Bergkamp-willing we’ll share a few laughs now and then.
